After the disaster caused by the Cyclone Gonu, the Omani Government has taken several mitigating measures including the rehabilitation works in Quriyat.
Description of Work:
• Excavation of valley bed and embankment for dikes and roads
• Soil improvement by jet
grouting technology
• Construction of a 180 meter long bridge and two viaducts with respective lengths of 210 meters and 91 meters
• Construction of reinforced concrete retaining walls
• Road works including water drainage, asphalting, road lighting, safety barriers, sidewalks, road signing and marking
